Cardi B is feeling like Tiger Woods.
The Grammy-winning rapper is back in the studio working on her sophomore album. Taking to Instagram Live on Wednesday, she revealed more details about the follow-up to Invasion of Privacy, including the title—Tiger Woods.
“Everything that I’m working on right now is straight to my album. Straight to my album,” she told her fans. “And I think I’m gonna name my album Tiger Woods. I think I’ma name my album Tiger Woods ‘cause remember when everybody was talking shit on Tiger Woods and then he f**king came and won that green jacket? That’s what I’ma name my album.”
Cardi is referring to the embattled golf star who suffered a fall from grace after reports of extramarital affairs. Over a decade later, the prolific golfer managed a professional comeback. In April, he won his first major championship victory in 11 years with his win at the Masters.
Meanwhile, Cardi’s career continues to thrive. She stars as a judge alongside T.I. and Chance the Rapper on Netflix’s new series “Rhythm + Flow,” which premieres Oct. 9. The Hustlers star is also plotting her next film role. “I’m going to film for a movie this month,” she revealed during her appearance on “Ellen.”
