For Carlos Rodriguez, Jr. (C-Lo) being a radio personality was all he ever wanted to be.
C-Lo has been involved with music since he was just a boy. From 6th to 11th grade he was a concert violinist at his junior high and high school. It was during his senior year at Vidal M. Trevino Magnet School that he found a deep passion for radio. Fast forward to 2005 where he joined the military and served his country proudly for 6 years.
In September of 2011 C-Lo auditioned in the ‘Fight for the Mic’ contest held by Hot 106.1, in search of a new radio personality. With the support of his family and friends his dream became a reality! You can listen to him every evening (7p – 11p) where he hosts the Hot 8 at 8, Hot or Not, Late Night Love, Friday Night Flava and Saturday Night Sessions.
