Eminem is reloading. Following Machine Gun Kelly’s “Rap Devil” diss, the Rap God is reportedly readying a response.
During an interview with Culture Untold, Em’s right-hand man Mr. Porter hinted that Slim Shady has a reply in the works. “We doing something else right now, but trust me, we’ll get to it,” he said.
The producer and former D12 member likened Eminem’s response to what Thanos did to Iron Man in Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War movie. “The one thing that I’m worried about … You remember when Thanos threw that whole planet at Iron Man?” he said. “Let anybody else say something and then he take everybody out at once. That’ll happen.”
However, he did commend MGK for his “cute” response. “That actually helped MGK more than it did Em. Not that I’m saying MGK is an incredible rapper. It sounded great for what I’m used to [from] him. I ain’t never heard no song from him that made me be like, ‘Ooh!’”
On his “Rap Devil” diss, MGK called out Eminem for being the “big bad bully of the rap game” and mocked his age (“The real Slim Shady can’t stand up”). He also accused him of trying to “blackball” his career. “Still can’t cover up the fact your last four albums is as bad as your selfie,” raps MGK.
Eminem dissed the Cleveland MC on “Not Alike” off his surprise album Kamikaze, which was seemingly inspired by MGK’s subliminal diss on Tech N9ne’s “No Reason.”
“This little c**k-sucker, he must be feeling himself / He wants to keep up his tough demeanor,” raps Em. “So he does a feature, decides to team up with Nina / But next time you don’t gotta use Tech N9ne / If you wanna come at me with a sub, Machine Gun / And I’m talkin’ to you, but you already know who the f**k you are, Kelly / I don’t use sublims and sure as f**k don’t sneak-diss / But keep commenting on my daughter Hailie.”
