A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie makes them “Say A’” with the release of his latest single off The Bigger Artist.
Over a piano-laden instrumental, the New York rapper delivers a sing-songy flow about encounters with police, daily shootings, and his annual income.
“Look at me now, bi**h I’m drowning,” he raps. “And my hoodie Saint Laurent, it’s a thousand / And we come straight out the Bronx, so we wildin’ / Shoutout BK, Free Bobby, and Free Rowdy.”
“Say A’” follows A Boogie releases like “Beast Mode” (with PnB Rock and YoungBoy Never Broke Again) and “D.A.R.E.” (featuring Young Dolph) off his forthcoming debut. Including appearances from Chris Brown, Trey Songz, and 21 Savage, The Bigger Artist is due Sept. 29.
Following the album’s release, A Boogie will embark on a U.S. tour, starting Oct. 19 in Santa Ana, Calif.
