Miley Cyrus recently shared a classic raised-fist moment alongside the original rebel, Billy Idol.
On Friday (Jan. 10), Cyrus shared a photo of herself with Idol and musician/producer Andrew Watt. The trio is seen in what appears to be Watt’s recording studio, surrounded by neon pink lights, guitars and other music memorabilia.
“Billy F—ing Idol. Miley F—ing Cyrus. Andrew F—ing Watt. #NameAMoreIconicTrio #IWillWait @billyidol @thisiswatt,” Cyrus captioned the pic.
Last Halloween, Cyrus’ boyfriend Cody Simpson channeled Idol’s iconic 1980s look, wearing leather pants and a leather jacket with no shirt. Cyrus played along dressing as the singer’s then-girlfriend Perri Lister.
This isn’t Cyrus’ first run-in with Idol. In 2016, the pop star shared the stage with Idol at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, where the two performed “Rebel Yell,” the title track from his 1983 hit album.
