“Joining Avengers: Infinity War isn’t just for basically everyone who’s ever starred in a Marvel movie anymore: it’s also for at least one Game of Thrones star.
Variety reports that The Station Agent himself, Peter Dinklage, is being eyed for a “key role” in the upcoming, two-part mega-sequel.
The nature of Dinklage’s reported role is not known, and Marvel had no comment, so at present all this is, is a warning shot.
The film, which will be released in two parts, pits the Avengers, Doctor Strange, and the Guardians of the Galaxy against Thanos, the death-obsessed alien dictator who’s been making quick cameo appearances in every Marvel movie since The Avengers.
In addition to his role in Game of Thrones, Dinklage appeared in the modern holiday classic Elf and The Chronicles of Narnia, and recently played the villain in X-Men: Days of Future Past.”
