Add Pink to your Super Bowl plans. The singer has signed on to perform the National Anthem before Super Bowl LII on Feb. 4, NBC and the NFL announced on Monday morning (Jan. 8). The Beautiful Trauma singer will help get the party started at U.S Bank Stadium in Minneapolis before the kick-off of the game, setting the stage for what is shaping up to be a memorable halftime show featuring her pal (and former tourmate) Justin Timberlake.

Pink, 38, joins a long, storied list of performers who have taken on the notoriously difficult-to-sing “Star-Spangled Banner,” including everyone from Whitney Houston to Beyoncé, Cher, Garth Brooks, Billy Joel, Lady Gaga, Neil Diamond, Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey and last year’s anthem singer Luke Bryan, among others. Actor/Director Alexandria Wailes (Big River) will perform the American Sign Language versions of both the National Anthem and “America the Beautiful” on behalf of the National Association of the Deaf.

While the gig is Pink’s first trip to the Super Bowl stage, the big day will make JT’s record-setting third time playing the halftime show.
