Latin sensation Ricky Martin will be making his return to the 29th annual GLAAD Media Awards this year. The “Fiebre” singer, who won the Vito Russo Award back in 2011, will be making a special appearance during the ceremony honoring LGBTQ excellence in media.

“Ricky Martin is a true icon who has been a tireless advocate for the LGBTQ community and is one of the most visible out entertainers in the world,” said GLAAD President and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis. “We are thrilled to welcome another global legend on our stage at the GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles – it will truly be a night to remember.”

Martin will be joining musical guests Superfruit and Betty Who, who will be performing at the ceremony and its afterparty, respectively, and host Wanda Sykes. The organization previously announced it would be honoring Britney Spears with the Vanguard award for her advocacy on behalf of the LGBTQ community, and Jim Parsons with the Stephen F. Kolzak Award for his efforts at increasing on-screen representation.

The GLAAD Media Awards will take place Thursday (April 12) at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.
