THE WEEKND ANNOUNCES MASSIVE “AFTER HOURS TOUR”

The Weeknd is bringing his After Hours set on the road for an extensive tour, which will kick off in North American in June.

On Thursday (February 20), the crooner, 30, announced the massive trek, which will take him across 40 cities in the U.S. and Canada, before wrapping up at Madison Square Garden in New York on September 3. “The After Hours Tour will showcase state of the art production and one of the most innovative stage designs to date, containing the most LED lights and video for an arena show,” a Live Nation press release announced. Tickets to the tour will be available all next week via Ticketmaster, with the earliest available on Tuesday. General pre-sale kicks off on Friday.

News of the trek comes exactly one month before the release of his new album, After Hours, which is scheduled for release on March 20. Among the previously released songs include “Blinding Lights,” “Heartless” and the most recent title track. Expect even more from the superstar, including his musical guest stint on the Daniel Craig-hosted episode of Saturday Night Live on March 7.
