Jimmy Fallon will executive produce the 10-episode hourlong celebrity competition series
If you’re a fan of Jimmy Fallon‘s “Wheel of Musical Impressions,” we’ve got good news for you.
The Tonight Show host is launching a brand new show on NBC, That’s My Jam, in which he’ll bring hilarious new musical games inspired by the ones he plays on his show.
Fallon, 44, will executive produce the 10-episode hourlong celebrity competition series, which will draw inspiration from the musical segments he brings to his late-night talk show. The most popular, of course, is “Wheel of Musical Impressions,” where celebrities are tasked with performing random musical impressions. Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, Jamie Foxx and more have been put to the test over the years.
The series will feature both his classic and brand new music-based games and a new group of celebrities each week.
“We love playing these games on the show and it’ll be fun to see it taken to the next level,” Fallon says.
Meredith Ahr, president of alternative and reality group at NBC Entertainment, says the network is “thrilled to bring viewers a new set of games and create a weekly party that is just as much fun to watch as it is to play along.”
“Jimmy reinvented the late-night genre with his one-of-a-kind celebrity game segments that show our favorite stars at their most clever, creative and relaxed,” Ahr says.
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights (11:35 p.m. ET) on NBC.
A premiere date for That’s My Jam has not yet been announced.
