Watch Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Teach His Daughter to Wash Her Hands to a ‘Moana’ Tune

As the coronavirus continues to spread, safety precautions have been a big topic of conversation. Most importantly, the proper hand-washing technique, as encouraged by the CDC, requires a 20-second scrub.

With that information, celebrities have been finding creative ways to fill that 20-second time slot, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson took inspiration from Moana, in which he plays demigod Maui.

In a video uploaded to Instagram, Johnson is in the bathroom with his one-year-old daughter Tia, where they show off their hand-washing to the tune of Maui’s “rap portion” of Moana’s “You’re Welcome.” Johnson flows with ease, as Tia adorably chimes in with the lyrics throughout, before sweetly telling viewers to “stay healthy” and “stay safe.”

“Our sheltering at home, pre daddy’s shower ritual,” he captioned the cute clip. “Before my showers now, Baby Tia (mama mia) demands I sing the rap portion of my song ‘You’re Welcome’ from MOANA, while I wash her hands.”

“And gotta love how at the start of this vid, baby Tia is like, ‘just shut your mouth and sing daddy,'” he adds.
