BTS & Coldplay Deliver Two New Versions of ‘My Universe’ Collab: Listen

Coldplay and BTS are continuing to deliver on “My Universe.” Following the release of their Inside ‘My Universe’ documentary on Sunday (Sept. 26), the British band and K-pop supergroup gave fans two new remixes of their hit collaboration.

On Monday (Sept. 27), the groups dropped an acoustic version of “My Universe” to streaming platforms, in addition to a Supernova 7 remix of the song created by Coldplay’s Guy Berryman. The two new versions of the single are also available for purchase. An official music video for “My Universe” is also set to follow the new versions of the song, though a release date has yet to be announced.

Coldplay and BTS most recently performed “My Universe” at the 2021 Global Citizen Festival in New York City’s Central Park on Sunday, though the K-pop group joined the band onstage virtually as they appeared at the event from South Korea. “We collaborated with a band and we took their average age up about 15 years, but it’s been one of the most fun things we’ve ever done,” Coldplay frontman Chris Martin told the crowd during the performance. “This is a song we did with BTS. This is a song about love who you love, and only that.”

“My Universe,” which arrived on Friday, is the second single from Coldplay’s upcoming studio album, Music of Spheres, due out Oct. 15.
