Doja Cat Pounces With ‘Planet Her’ Album Featuring Ariana Grande, The Weeknd & More

Doja Cat is back, and this time she’s bringing her famous friends.

The American rapper and singer shared the artwork, tracklist and release date for her third and latest album, Planet Her. It would appear to be out of this world.

Spanning 14 songs, Planet Her will feature Ariana Grande (on “I Don’t Do Drugs”), The Weeknd (on “You Right”), Young Thug (on “Pay Day”), J.I.D (on “Options”) and, of course, SZA on “Kiss Me More,” a Top 5 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The new album is due out June 25, with artwork that sees Doja Cat flying in space, a la Captain Marvel.

Planet Her is the followup to 2019’s sophomore album Hot Pink, which peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard 200.

Back in April, Doja appeared in the latest episode of Billboard’s “Growing Up” series, in which she explained the origins of her colorful fashion sense and previewed her next album.

“For the next project, it will be similar to [2019 sophomore album] Hot Pink, in the sense that each of the songs are very different from each other,” she said of her follow-up, adding that it will be more “consistent” than her breakthrough collection.

She had one word to describe it: “Unbelievable.”

Earlier this week, Doja teased the Planet Her track “Need to Know.”
