Jaden Smith raps from the rooftop in the video for “I’m Ready,” which appears on Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Original Video Game Soundtrack.
In the clip, the MC hangs out above the city at dusk while the super-realistic action from the Marvel game for the new PS5 unspools, finding teen superhero Morales taking on a series of villains.
The song was written by Jaden along with Omarr Rambert and Josiah Bell, with the video directed by Gavin Filipiak.
Jaden’s third studio album, CTV3: Cool Tape Vol. 3, dropped in August and featured the songs “Cabin Fever” and “Falling For You” with Justin Bieber. The rest of the Spider-Man video game soundtrack features a score by Emmy-nominated composer John Paesano (Penny Dreadful: City of Angels and two other original songs, both by Lecrae, “Where We Come From” and “This is My Time.”
