Kesha Gives Intimate Performance of ‘Resentment’ on ‘Tonight Show’: Watch

Kesha paid a virtual visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Friday (April 17) to perform a stripped-down version of “Resentment,” from her latest album, High Road.

Sitting in front of a mirror in what appears to be a bedroom, the pop star gave an intimate performance of “Resentment,” which features Brian Wilson and Sturgill Simpson on the original recording. Watch the performance below.

Kesha’s Tonight Show performance was partly an effort to raise awareness for Live Nation’s Crew Nation fund, which aims to help support concert crews around the world amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Earlier this week, Kesha attempted to cure her boredom at home by sharing a 30-second jingle inspired by the 1990 classic Christmas movie Home Alone.

“You know I’m home, alone/ Macaulay, ‘Caulay Culkin/ And boo, I’m bored/ My cellular is broken/ I’m in the mood, I’m in the zone/ Honey, I’m not joking,” she sings over the thumping beat.

The accompanying clip showed the singer strutting around her home in an oversized button-down and white thigh-high socks.
