LIZZO DELIVERS AN EXTRA SMOOTH COVER OF BTS’S ‘BUTTER’

The funky rendition of ‘Butter’ we didn’t know we needed

Lizzo whipped BTS’s ‘Butter’ into a flavorful new funk cover while performing on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge on September 23.

During her set, the “Rumors” singer wore a black tube top that read “VMIN” in sparkling letters. “VMIN” is the nickname she created for BTS members, V and Jimin when she shared a freestyle verse celebrating her friendship with the band.

During her set the superstar gushed over the BTS track, sharing, “I love the song, love how positive their music and how funky it is, so I was super excited to sing this.”

In addition, Lizzo admitted that she is always, “singing it around the house anyway.”

“I have dedicated my artistry to making positive music, and BTS does just that. The world has fallen in love with them because they are so sweet and pure and they’re just good-hearted. And I wanted to bring some positivity into the world via their song,” concluded the “Truth Hurts” songstress.
