TAYLOR SWIFT WAS THE BIG WINNER AT THE AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS

The “American Music Awards” went down last night, and if you missed it, you didn’t miss much. It was all about TAYLOR SWIFT, who won Artist of the Year . . . Favorite Music Video for “Cardigan” . . . and Favorite Female Pop / Rock Artist.

The “AMAs” still attract some big-name celebrities . . . even in a pandemic . . . but Taylor wasn’t there. In a remote acceptance speech, she said she was too busy re-recording her old masters to make it. (Video here)

DOJA CAT was named Best New Artist . . . JUSTIN BIEBER won Favorite Male Pop / Rock Artist . . . “Don’t Start Now” by Dua Lipa was the Favorite Song . . . and BTS was the Favorite Duo or Group. (You can see all the winners, here.)

TARAJI P. HENSON was the host, and there was a limited number of audience members present . . . and they also had cardboard cutouts sitting in the seats . . . including the viral Fleetwood Mac skateboarder.
