Watch Jimmy Fallon Channel Harry Styles in ‘Treat People With Kindness’ Spoof

Chloe Fineman also delivers a spot-on impersonation of Phoebe Waller-Bridge in the amusing clip.

Jimmy Fallon stepped into Harry Styles’ dancing shoes on Monday (Jan. 4) to unveil a hilarious spoof on the singer’s “Treat People With Kindess” music video during The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

“Harry, do you have an idea of what you want it to look like?” a choreographer asks Fallon-as-Styles at the top of the clip, to which he exuberantly responds (while wearing a sparkly argyle vest, of course), “Yes! I want it to be full of color — periwinkle blues, lavenders and rich marigolds — but then when we release the video I want it to be in…black and white.”

Later on, he nails the visual’s jaunty choreography of “bashful street tucks,” “meerkat curtsies” and a “blooming-hydrangea-into-a-tiny-bird-doing-his-best,” though Fallon’s Styles does have one hilarious and rather specific request for the dance moves.

“Can we not do any more moves where me hands are clapping on each other and hitting each other,” he asks after striking his palms together. “It feels like my hands are fighting, you know? And that’s uh, very painful for me.” (Equally painful is when the choreographer confuses the star’s “walking to the mailbox cl0thes” for what he should wear in the music video…)

Saturday Night Live star Chloe Fineman also makes an appearance as Phoebe Waller-Bridge, dusting off her pitch-perfect impression of the Fleabag star as Fallon asks her to join him in the video. “Oh sorry, I was doing the thing from my show where I talk to the camera,” the SNL cast member admits after being caught in one of Waller-Bridge’s trademark asides during the conversation. “I forgot that it doesn’t work like that in real life.”

For his part, Styles dropped the “Treat People With Kindness” video on New Year’s Day, and the joyful clip has since racked up more than 12 million views.
