It’s not so random that the cast of Disney Channel’s Sonny With a Chance is coming back together for a virtual reunion this Saturday. Billboard can confirm that even Sonny Munroe herself, Demi Lovato, will be in attendance.
Tiffany Thornton, Sterling Knight, Brandon Mychal Smith and Allisyn Snyder posted about the reunion with their six former castmembers on Instagram on Wednesday. (The flier includes the So Random! title because Disney Channel renamed the series after the sketch comedy show at the center of the series for its third season after Lovato left in 2011 to focus on her health and music career.)
Last month, castmember Doug Brochu announced Disney+ added Sonny With a Chance to its queue in April. “We definitely need a cast catch-up because I’ve been hit with so many memories the past few days. Self-isolation cast camping trip to find Candy Face?” he quipped. Looks like that cast catch-up is finally happening!
